As Chief Technology Officer, you will help craft a comprehensive product vision and roadmap, synthesizing current and next generation customer needs while ensuring day-to-day operational efficiencies, customer value, and cross-functional communication. You will identify market needs and user preferences and drive growth through transformational and innovative product development. 

Reporting to Interlace Health’s second-generation President, you will serve as key member of the executive team and provide leadership for our product management, quality assurance, and engineering teams within in a highly collaborative team environment. You will ideate, strategize, anticipate, and manage product delivery and future development while optimizing annual technology investments.

  • SERVE AS VISIONARY & ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADER – Serve as an integral member of Interlace Health’s executive team, partnering closely with colleagues and ownership to determine and direct the company’s growth strategy. Drive success in EHR-integrated healthcare products through actionable plans tied to business strategies. Create solutions aligned with healthcare market needs to maintain a competitive advantage and brand recognition.
  • LEAD HIGH-PERFORMING PRODUCT, QUALITY ASSURANCE, AND ENGINEERING TEAMS – Partner closely with two senior leaders and teams dedicated to product management, software engineering and quality assurance. Build, grow and develop internal teams within a highly competitive talent landscape, ensuring challenge, accountability, and reward. Develop solid and accountable relationships with external partners to ensure necessary expertise and deliverables for product initiatives.
  • DRIVE CUSTOMER-CENTRIC PRODUCT INNOVATION – Serve as expert technologist and chief-customer advocate for on premise and cloud-based product offerings. Proactively identify market requirements and drive application development through web-based and custom solutions. Liaison between internal teams and clients to ensure successful product development planning, including testing, rich data integration, optimal performance, and security. 
  • ENSURE CONTINUOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & MANAGE RESOURCES – Oversee all product management, engineering, and quality assurance operations, including best practices and strategic resources for UI/UX design, user research, agile, testing, DevOps and cloud-based development methods. Implement and oversee a highly-structured product release process with KPIs to ensure quality and to hold both internal and external teams accountable. Partner with executive leadership to manage revenue, growth, sales and ROI metrics as well as related capital expenditures. 
  • FOSTER A CULTURE OF TECHNOLOGY FUTURISTS – Foster a culture of confident product and engineering leaders dedicated to evaluating emerging healthcare technology trends and leveraging customer intelligence and competitive insights to make strategic product decisions. Foster collaboration and teamwork and empower team growth through structure and coaching.



  • You are a technology product visionary yet an experienced operational business strategist with a passion for identifying and delivering customer solutions to improve and transform the day-to-day interactions of healthcare providers, patients, and staff members.
  • You have gained 10-15+ years of progressive product-centric technology leadership, including a demonstrated record of success in bringing products from early-stage development to market launch. Experience includes prior team leadership for direct reports in product, engineering, and QA as well as demonstrated success in operationalizing an effective and structured process for product release. Prior experience in the healthcare sector preferred yet not required.
  • Your experience includes solid broad-based technical knowledge and leadership competencies across cloud-based and mobile platforms. You bring expertise in product development in a subscription-based model. Familiarity with EHR-software such as Meditech, Cerner, Epic, McKesson, Siemens, Allscripts, etc., is a plus, yet not required.
  • You are well-versed in proactively communicating cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders. You confidently interact with team members and clients at all levels and react with diplomacy and tact. You bring experience in communicating a product vision and prospective road map to ownership, clients, and team members alike.
  • You are willing to serve as a hands-on leader with the ability and desire to flex between strategic and tactical priorities required. Superior project management skills and a proactive mindset is required.
  • You have developed a solid business acumen and bring technology budget experience and/or P&L leadership. 4-year college degree required. MBA/advanced degree a plus!

  • COMPETITIVE BENEFITS & COMPENSATION PACKAGE – Interlace Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including base salary, annual bonus, and long-term incentives tied to company goals and profitability for this role. Equity not available. Interlace Health offers medical insurance and fully-paid dental and vision insurance as well as life and disability insurances. HSA account contribution offered along with standard PTO as well as up to 12 hours per quarter of volunteer PTO. Benefits also include an annual charitable match option and a matching 401k plan.


Preferred locations for this role include Saint Louis, Missouri, and Nashville, Tennessee, yet remote applicants are welcome to apply. Ability and willingness to travel to Saint Louis and Nashville for team meetings as well as to necessary client locations across the country is required. Estimated travel for this position approximately 25%.
