Saint Elizabeths Hospital has provided quality mental health care to patients since 1855 and remains a Washington, DC landmark. With that link to the past, the Hospital is embracing the future. With a new 450,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility ready to replace the 150-year old Hospital in late 2009, the Hospital will provide high-quality in inpatient care for people with acute, long-term mental health needs for years to come!
