Our revolutionary cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) application is improving the quality of lives for eye doctors and their patients each and every day.
We have introduced the marketplace to a whole new way of thinking about EMR in an eye care setting. One where we actually provide functionality that adds real clinical and surgical value, rather than simply being an administrative tool. Because we are so highly specialized, we are able to care for an eye care practice’s needs in ways no other company can. We’re leading the shift from traditional server-based platforms to cloud computing and providing the level of innovation and creativity that the healthcare environment has desperately needed. Organization History
As a practicing ophthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Kyle Smith spearheaded the efforts to implement an EMR in a large ophthalmology department at a major academic center. His frustration mounted as one of the giants of the EMR industry failed to deliver a usable product even after substantial time and money were invested in the effort. Envisioning a better solution, Dr. Smith began exploring a totally new approach to EMR for eye care that would deliver the product that he and his colleagues had needed for years—an EMR that actually improves efficiency and patient care. He embarked on a mission to design an EMR workflow based on the real-world experience of eye doctors and a revolutionary new interface design. The result is an EMR solution that is transforming eye care practices across the country.
From the outset of this project, Dr. Smith understood that this EMR would need to meet the needs of optometry as well as ophthalmology, and would need to function well across the spectrum of practice types, both large and small. He sought the assistance of experienced clinicians from around the country whose expertise helped refine the design concept. Dr. Smith then began building a team of equally passionate professionals, including some of the best software development talent in the world—experts who shared his vision for a new breed of EMR. This team has focused all of its creative energy on bringing the dream to life.
The result of their work is Integrity EMR for Eyes, a revolutionary web-based EMR with a user interface design that reduces learning curves, expedites implementation, improves the quality of patient care, and increases a practice’s productivity and profitability.
