Methodist Dallas Medical Center is 515 bed hospital offering expertise in over 60 medical specialties and serving over 161,000 patients annually. It is one of Texas’ leading teaching and referral centers with four accredited medical residency programs. The hospital also houses the Methodist Dallas Transplant Institute, one of the largest and most active multi-organ transplant centers in the southwest United Stated. Additionally, it is one of only three emergency departments in Dallas which provide trauma care, and provides a neonatal intensive care for more than 30 hospitals in north and east Texas. Methodist Dallas employs 2,400 health care professionals, making it one of the largest employers in the Dallas area. With aggressive new leadership and excellent clinical quality, Methodist Dallas is well positioned to capture increased market share.

Thanks the nearly 5,000 dedicated employees, Methodist was also ranked No. 1 among health care providers in the 2008 Dallas Business Journal Best Place to Work competition. This marks the sixth year in a row Methodist has been named a top-10 finalist in the competition.
