Description

The Director of Software Engineering is responsible for leading and managing PRIME Health Services’ software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure product enhancements. This role has direct accountability for the performance, productivity, and delivery outcomes of Application Developers across Associate, Specialist, and Senior levels.

This position operates at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery, ensuring that business requirements and architectural designs are translated into efficient, reliable, and timely software solutions. This role partners closely with Agile Delivery Management to ensure predictable execution while maintaining ownership of engineering output, technical quality, and team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field required; Master’s preferred
• 7+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years managing development teams
• Experience leading enterprise applications, preferably healthcare
• Strong knowledge of .NET and distributed architectures
• Experience working in Agile environments
